Chris Lindsey

Chris, a Harry Nalbandian Public Service Scholar and Eagle Scout, graduated with honors from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

While completing his degree, Chris worked with several public organizations. He worked with the Evermore Community Improvement District, a special business district in his hometown of Snellville , Georgia . Chris worked with the City Manager of Snellville and became interested in public service and city management.

He also interned with the Snellville Downtown Development Authority, where he assisted in increasing awareness of the Authority and its services. He remains the webmaster for the Authority. During his senior year, Chris interned with the Gwinnett County Department of Planning and Zoning, where he learned about zoning administration and handled rezoning and special use permit requests.

Chris is currently the Budget Intern with the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City , Kansas . He has assisted with compiling the budget and capital maintenance program documents. Chris has helped the Budget Office transition to a new enterprise resource planning system and is working on measuring performance within all the departments in the Unified Government.

Chris is looking for an internship where he can interact with a city manager in a wide range of local government operations. Chris is open to moving most anywhere, and looks forward to working with an excellent mentor.
