Solomon Woods

Solomon Woods was born in Chicago, Illinois. He earned a B.A. from Eastern Illinois University in Spanish and African American Studies, and an M.A. in African Studies from the University of Illinois. Prior to entering active service, Solomon was an intern in the Political Section, U.S. Embassy Accra. He is a career Army Officer with 15 years of experience. He recently served as the Deputy Branch Chief, Office for Counterintelligence in the Defense Intelligence Agency, Washington, DC. He was responsible for supervising analysts, whom provided intelligence to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, military services, and other policymakers. He is a Special Forces Officer and has been deployed to Afghanistan and other areas in support of U.S. missions abroad. Solomon's academic and research interests include constitutional law, administrative law, and human resources management.
