Because our programs are offered across three campuses, advising responsibilities are shared among multiple staff members. Ray serves as the advisor for the Lawrence-based MPA students, including the City & County Leadership intern-option students. He also advises all international applicants and current international students in the MPA program. Lawrence-based students should start with Ray for any advising needs.
In addition, all MPA students should contact Ray for assistance with leaves of absence or any other change-of-status issues and questions about MPA alumni working in the area.

He serves as the main point of contact for both current students in the program and for undergraduate students exploring the major or minor in the field. He can answer questions about the program and about general education requirements for undergraduates at KU.

Diana assists current MPA students in their final semester of the masters program as they prepare for graduation. Contact her if you are a current MPA student and plan to graduate this semester. You can also contact her with questions about processes related to graduation requirements. Students with questions about courses completed or courses still needed to graduate should contact their primary advisor as listed above.
